Truth #363 - In all circumstances preach Christ - Acts 27-28

Acts 28:23-24 (ESV Strong's)

When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening he expounded to them, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.
And some were convinced by what he said, but others disbelieved.

Truth:  No matter the circumstances there is always an opportunity  to tell the story of Jesus

Paul finally makes it to Rome.  Satan didn't want him to be there.  Satan knew that Paul would use the opportunity in the world's biggest city to further preach Christ.   The final leg of the trip to Rome was full of peril.  From shipwreck to sneak bite, Paul survives and arrives.   In an unusual twist, rather than recover, within three days Paul "called together" the local Jewish leaders.   It was their counterparts in Jerusalem who made the original charges against Paul.   Yet, he calls for them!!   Paul had earlier written to the Roman believers, "I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God."   Here he demonstrates what he was saying.   He invites these leaders and many more to his prison home and expounds for a full day the Gospel as seen in the O.T.   Some would believe and some would not .   Paul was, however, only the tool God used.  He so realized that no matter the circumstances we find ourselves in, Christ is to be preached.   God has someone out there we are to tell about Christ.   Paul could have retired.  Paul could have rested.  Paul could have complained.   Instead, Paul preached Christ.
