Do you know what God's glory looks like? Exodus 37-40

Exodus 40:34-35 (NASBStr)
Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

Imagine not being able to worship because the worship was so pure (in Spirit and in Truth ... John 4:24) that God's glory filled the place and that same glory you wanted to see prevented you from worshiping.   We talk a lot about God's glory.   Any time in Scripture there is a "sighing" of God's glory there is fear, and people falling prostrate on the ground.  Read about Moses on the mountain.  Read about Isaiah in the Temple.  Read about Moses and the burning bush.  Read about Jesus with the three disciples on the Mount of Transfiguration.   Read about Paul and the Damascus Road.   Read about anyone who came face-to-face with the Glory of The Lord.   When God makes His presence known something happens.  People fall prostrate.  People see their own sins.  Seeing and experiencing the glory of God does not mean celebration.   It can, but typically it means man comes face to face with His purity and our sin.  It is a time people fall prostrate on the ground and beg for mercy.   We typically CAN'T worship because His Glory is so frightful and so all consuming.   The Israelites obeyed God and built the Tabernacle just as God had told them.   That obedience brought forth the Glory of The Lord.  That Glory prevented Moses from ministering and worshiping.   Now, that is God's Glory being revealed!!!
