Psalms 147:12-14 (ESV Strong's)
Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem!
Praise your God, O Zion!
For he strengthens the bars of your gates;
he blesses your children within you.
He makes peace in your borders;
he fills you with the finest of the wheat.
Truth: If we have peace it is a gift of God not a work of man
Our world is in an uproar!! There is a "holy war" going on between God and Satan; between Christ and the Evil One. The Evil One is using false doctrine to caused deception, derision and death. Our world and political governance is trying to find peace. They are trying to legislate it! They are trying to orchestrate it!! They are trying to create it!!! Yet, in the above verse we read that IF we have peace in our "borders," it is because: He makes peace in your borders!! The emphasis is on the "HE" of the verse. He "strengthens the bars of your gates" the verse says. Our world will not be able to experience peace until it recognizes the source of peace: God the Father, through Christ the Son, in the Power of God the Spirit. Unless the rulers of the world come to their knees and are willing to submit to the God of the universe, they will not have peace. Christ said, just before He died and rose again, that He would leave peace with this who believe:
John 14:27 (ESV Strong's)
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Peace, according to this verse, is not the absence of war, it is the presence of something Christ provides. The world wants the fighting to stop. That is not peace. Peace, according to the Word of God, is the presence of something only God can provide. We ought to pray for peace. But, we ought not get caught up in the world's definition and outline for peace. Christ was sent as the Peace of the World. Christ is the gift of peace. Until the world recognizes it they can only fight each other for their fake versions of peace.
My 2026 Theme Verses: Psalms 145:4-7 (ESV) One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.
