My 2026 Theme Verses: Psalms 145:4-7 (ESV) One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.

I love my wife's body from head to toe (and especially in between) - Song of Songs 7, 8
“Your head crowns you like Carmel, and the flowing locks of your head are like purple threads; the king is captivated by your tresses (locks of hair)."
If you had to put a title on these two chapters you could say, "I love my wife's hair, hips, breasts, navel, and other sundry body parts. I love God's Word. As I said earlier in one of these devotional blogs, God is not ashamed of intimacy between the man and woman He has placed together. In this passage (especially chapter seven) Solomon is admiring his new wife ... from head to toe ... literally. In 7:1 he speaks of her toes in 7:5 her head. In 2-4 he speaks of everything in between (navel, hips, breasts, etc.). The husband is ravished with the wife. And, that is how is should be. Solomon no longer has to look beyond what God has blessed him with. God has satisfied the want of this man's eyes. He only has to imagine his wife and all his visual needs are met. We talk a lot in our society about man and his "visual needs". We actually sell beer, cars and motorcycles with women clothed especially for the man's visual "need." Sin exploits that "need". God provides, through the beauty of the marriage commitment, the solution. Husbands should be enraptured with his wife and the way God created her. We ought not get lost in the sea of sin to fulfill the visual need. We ought to be "captivated" with who God gave us and how He put her together!
